My life is revolving around getting this house ready to put on the market!  There are a lot of little things left to do, but hopefully we will be ready by the end of the week!

Our table for the Connection Fair

It's not the best picture, but you get the idea.  We had 7 silver platters around the table.  Each platter represented a different spiritual gift.  There was also a gift bag on each platter.  So, when you walk up to our table, you draw a slip of paper with a spiritual gift on it.  Then you walk around the table and decide which bag to put your paper in.  Some of them were tricky, but it proved to be a lot of fun and definately made you think about Spiritual Gifts.  If you got your question right, you won a cupcake.  If you got yours wrong, the consolation prize was a cupcake.  If you happened to be anywhere in the vicinity of our table, you got a cupcake!  I only went home with a few left and those didn't last very long.

***Out of 16 hear groups, we won a $25 gift card for the best table! ***

I spent all day doing what I love! 

I made 4 different kinds of cupcakes.  In all, I made over 100 cupcakes and they were all really good! 

1.  Cookie Dough Cupcakes (everyone's favorite!)  Recipe

We are having a Connection Fair at church and each heart group is responsible for decorating a table and a snack.  Vivianne is working on the table decorations and I am working on the snacks.

I am still extremely busy around the house and with work.  And I didn't take any pictures today.  And I am still feeling a little nostalgic...

Here's me and my mom.  I was a senior in high school.  I had just won basketball homecoming queen.  My hair was so big, you can't even see my tiara in this picture!!!  My mom is so special to me.  There's not a time in my life that I can remember needing her and she wasn't there for me.  Love you Mom!

Life is pretty busy right now.  I didn't take a picture today.  But here is a picture I thought I would share of me and my Pop, my Dad's dad.  I was 4 years old in this picture.  I loved him so much and he loved me so much!  I can still remember how he smells (old spice).  I can still hear him singing in church.  I used to love to watch him drink his coffee.  Sometimes I get very nostalgic...

Birthday Celebration!

We all went over to Mom and Dad's for dinner to celebrate Lee's birthday.

(Lee has lost 60 pounds this year.  He has been disciplined with his eating and exercise routines.  I am so proud of him and the example and inspiration he is for all of us!)
